Study nurse

Pivotal in the care of patients in the department’s clinical trials, study nurses are the direct referents of patients. They administer treatments according to protocol prerequisites and are present at each visit.

Being a study nurse means being with patients, answering their questions, carrying out the examinations required by the protocol in addition to standard practice (measuring vital signs, biological samples, ECG, etc.).

Within the department and with the help of the CRA, nurses are in charge of scheduling all patient’s visits (consultations and hospitalizations) in frame with protocol requirements.

They carry out the administration of protocol treatments according to the prerequisites of clinical trials and are the first point of contact for patients throughout the studies.
